A man with long hair and a beard, wearing a large white hat and glasses, is singing into a microphone while playing an acoustic guitar on stage, illuminated by colorful purple and pink lights with a background of dark plants.

my name is Mahadev…

I would like to share with you the blessing I have been given — the grace of singing for you. I feel this grace each time we gather in a circle to raise our vibrations through Bhakti Yoga, through the chanting of mantras, and through the deep states of meditation that the voice and the sacred sound invite us to enter.

Many of you have known me for several years now. I travel through your countries, your cities, and your villages — sometimes alone, sometimes accompanied by wonderful orchestras — to sing the Naam, the Name of the Divine, and to offer the spiritual songs that I compose along the way.

If we have not yet met, allow me to share, in a few words, the path that has brought me to this moment. I grew up in a spiritual family between France and Switzerland, and from an early age, my journey carried me to England, the United States, and India. Musician, singer-songwriter, I later trained in yoga — and most deeply in Bhakti Yoga — after discovering the art of living and the art of mindfulness in the presence of Thích Nhất Hạnh.

Bhakti Yoga reveals itself through two intertwined paths. One flows from the ancient spiritual traditions of India, addressing the Divine with devotion, love, and music. The other calls upon the sacred vibrations of mantras to deepen meditation, guiding us toward a clearer vision and understanding of existence.

In uniting these two currents, my practice — rooted in music and sacred song — could be described as a meeting point between tantra, yoga, and art. Creativity stands at the heart of this journey, and I am deeply grateful to offer kirtans, concerts, and moments where the arts converge, such as during an Opera Kirtan, where music, voice, and spirit merge as one.

Yet, no words can truly describe who I am, for the essence lies not in description but in practice — in the act of singing itself. I warmly invite you to join me for a kirtan or any spiritual gathering, where together we may rest in presence and allow the infinite joy of being alive, in unity, to express itself through us.

Let’s do Kirtan together !
